Landlords FAQ

What upfront Charges will I incur if I become one of your Landlords?

We do not charge fees until we have found you a tenant. If we do not find you a tenant, then you don’t pay us a penny in fees.

Will I have to pay for the lease or the inventory to be drawn up?

No, we don't make a charge for drawing up documents.

What is the minimum period that my property can be let out for?

Six months is the minimum term as it will be let on a Short Assured Tenancy.

Will I need Landlords Buildings & Contents cover?

Yes, as a Landlord your responsibility is to insure the property and its contents (if furnished accommodation) and we have a block policy for this purpose.

Do I need to notify the Council that I intend to rent out my property?

You will need to apply for Landlord registration before you can go ahead and rent out your property however we can help you with this process.

Do you only offer a full management service?

No, we also offer “Find a tenant” service which suits those Landlords who prefer to manage the property themselves.

How often will my property be checked by a member of your staff for damage or wear and tear caused by Tenants?

We check your property after 6 weeks of putting a new tenant in then we carry out Periodic Inspection Visits six monthly.
